The Day In History...

truly the day of my history...

i drove for only 60 km/h for ONE HOUR....

arrgghh.....

so the story is this...me and my stepmother went to Kompleks Tabung Haji in Kelana Jaya to send my cousin and her hubby who are going to Makkah for 40 days...usually my stepmother have a ride with my other cousin since her driving was slow and steady and just nice...well...'just nice' according to my stepmother that is...me...i think her driving is so damn slow...you know how i drive...i could get up to 160 km/h speed....that's really really way too fast in my family's book...

but it turns out that i have to drive my stepmother there...because my cousin drove her sister to kelana jaya...and the car is full with my three aunts...as soon as i hit the highway i started to pick up speed...when i reached 100...my stepmother started screaming and yelling and ask me to slow down....so i slow down till 80...still she said it's too fast....so i slow down again till i hit 60 km/h...then she calm down...huhu

so i drove 60 km/h for the entire hour...you could only imagine my frustation driving for one hour with THAT speed...that's why it took one hour...usually i could get to the complex for only half an hour...so it seems that whenever my stepmother's around i could only drive up to 60 km/h speed....

Is it really dangerous to drive 160 speed in a highway?????

Exam Time....

The life cycle of a student:...study...study...study...exam...study...study...study...exam...
The exam week had started...huhu...

I have 5 papers to take for this semester starting 26th Oct and ends at 10th Oct..then i'll be having my semester break for 7 weeks...2 papers had already pass and 3 more to go before i can enjoy my blissful holiday...only i haven't quite figure out what i'm going to do during my semester break...i'm planning to take some piano lessons...anybody knows good music academy around klang valley?????

Anyway..here's my exam schedule...
26 Oct : Kenegaraan Malaysia - DONE...Phew...
28 Oct : Tamadun Islam dan Tamadun Asia(TITAS) - DONE also...
4 Oct : Discrete Structure - DAMN SCARED about this paper...
5 Oct : Oral Interaction Skills - hurm..do i really need to study for this????
10 Oct : Computer Programming- KILLER SUBJECT....my target for this paper...C..huhu..

For those who were having final exam...i wish you good luck...may you all pass with flying colours...hopefully you guys won't be too stressed studying....also stay out of trouble during this semester break...have a great holiday....

New addition to my bookshelf....

I've just finished reading The Mortal Instruments and now i have another book to indulge......

The last two days i spend finishing on City Of Glass, the last installment of The Mortal Instruments trilogy. I love the trilogy. It's not as great as Twilight Series to me but still it's a really good story. You really should try reading the book.

Also, I get to finish reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. It has been in my collection for ages and finally I get to finish it. My friend recommended me to read it. It tells a story about a boy named Santiago who studied to become a priest but choose to become a shepherd to travel and see the world. Along the way he met a lot of people and been through all sorts of experience that teaches him about life and pursuing your dream. It's a very inspiring story. It tells that we should not be afraid to fail and be brave in order to achieve our dreams.

Now, I'm reading Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom. It's another story about life lessons. Oh, and it's a true story too. Tells about a college professor who teaches his student about life until his last days. Try it....

Busy Bee!!!!!!

Assignments...study...college programs...final exam...yadda yadda yadda...

reasons i've been quite for almost a month...huhu...especially last weekend...there's a raya celebration at kpz...and lucky me...i got chosen to be Ketua Unit Protokol...i'm thrilled and exited and scared and anxious and....hurm...what else????

then again..i can't say i hate being part of the program..i get to learn something new...i've never work under that unit before so it's a new experience for me...experience makes us a better person right????

now...i'm just focusing on my final exam...no more college programs...huhu.....

Raya Raya Raya!!!!!!

This year we spent raya celebration the way we always do, at our Opah's home in Bagan Datoh, Perak. Every year, all my uncles and aunts will celebrate raya there. It's the only day in the year for all of my mother's siblings to be under one roof. It was so damn hectic and fun...huhu...

The colour of the year is purple. Since we've all been busy with studies, so we only have the chance to buy our baju raya 2 days before raya..huhu. The best thing is we got discounts, which is why it is good to go out and buy baju raya at last minute..haha..

My brother's baju raya was not so lucky tough. His was yellow. My mom had bought his baju melayu earlier. We've tried every way possible to buy a purple baju melayu for him but with no luck. hurm...maybe next year we'll decide on colour of the year earlier...

New addiction : The Mortal Instruments

I have another trilogy to indulge!!!!!!!

I found out about this trilogy through facebook. I fell in love with it the moment i read the synopsis. Since the books weren't available yet in malaysia so i download the novels from the net. And trust me it's not that easy to find. It took me such a long time to download.

The Mortal Instruments Trilogy is mostly a story about an ordinary artist named Clary who accidently bumped into the world of demon hunters and vampires and werewolves and so forth. Along the way she found out things about her past her mother had kept so neatly from her. You can click here for more info about the books. You could also find character summary on that website.

If you love twilight series then you will absolutely love the mortal instruments. The theme of the story is pretty much the same. I can't really say which one is better. I love twilight and I also love the mortal instruments. Both are good stories.

lose weight or just keep the cash?????

Which one would you choose??????

OR

I've seen people who were so damn obsessed to lose weight. They would go to slimming centers and pay for costly treatments even when they don't have enough money. It's like those treatments are the only way to lose weight.

Me ? If i'm a plus-sized person, of course i wanna lose weight. But i rather not spend way too much money on slimming treatments and gym memberships. It all depends on our attitude and determination. There are many ways to lose weight without spending too much money on it.

What would you do?????
